September 6, 2012

The Los Angeles Native American Indian Commission with the Los Angeles Dodgers celebrated Native American Heritage on Sunday, August 26, 2012. A grand total of over 600 tickets purchased for our Native American Day with Many of the Indian children were able to received Dodger backpacks.

With the help of our gracious sponsors including San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, Ca

bazon Band of Mission Indians, Bank of America, Pukúu Cultural Community Services, and especially Edison International (Southern California Edison) provide tickets for low income youth and families.

And possibly the greatest sight was to see our Indian children running the basis after the game. Many of the families who had very young children were allowed to carry the children around the bases.
