The Los Angeles County (County) Department of Arts and Culture (Arts and Culture) is releasing this Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSQ) to establish a diverse Prequalified List of non-profit, community-based, and faith-based organizations and public entities to provide Community Services Block Grant Native American Set-Aside (CSAIBG) services on behalf of the Los Angeles City/County Native American Indian Commission Self Governance Board (LANAIC SGB) to families and individuals throughout the County, with an emphasis in serving the American Indian and Alaska Native (AIAN) community.
The CSAIBG Program is designed to provide a range of services to assist low-income individuals and families attain the skills, knowledge and motivation necessary to achieve self-sufficiency. Direct delivery of services to qualified participants that are being solicited under this RFSQ will include programs and services that fall under at least one of the following four (4) Core Service Categories:
- Emergency Services
- Child and Family Development Services
- Elder and Disabled Adult Services
- Employment Services
Vendors must demonstrate proven ability to provide services under their selected Core Service Category and have assisted low-income participants in achieving measurable results in achieving financial stability and economic security for individuals and families with low-income, with an emphasis in serving the AIAN community. An optional Vendor’s Conference will be held virtually on August 18, 2023.
All Statement of Qualifications must be submitted virtually by September 7, 2023 according to the instructions provided in the RFSQ.
