LOS ANGELES — The Dodger’s’ rookie Yasiel Puig homered with two outs in the 11th inning for a 1-0 victory over the Cincinnati Reds on Sunday’s game during “Native American Heritage Day with the Los Angeles Dodgers”. In celebration of Native American Heritage the Los Angeles Dodgers hosted a special day at Dodger Stadium. Native American Singing and Dancing at the Viva Pavillion in the parking lot.
Tickets were provided by the The Los Angeles Native American Indian Commission, who have been instrumental in organizing these community events at sports games. Several American Indian people primarily from low income homes attended the game. Most of the families who attended came from the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
